Can I order wallpaper and fabric samples?

Yes. You can try 3 samples for free. Choose “Order free sample” on any wallpaper or fabric, here on the homepage or on the product page, to see the colour, texture and pattern scale in your own home before you buy.

Do you offer free delivery?

Yes, delivery is free on all orders over £33. This however excludes Samples. See shipping and returns for delivery times and full details.

How many rolls of wallpaper do I need?

Measure the width and height of each wall you want to paper. Each roll is 10m long, and larger pattern repeats need a little extra to line the design up, so check the pattern repeat on the product page and add a spare roll for trimming. Our guide to measuring a wall for wallpaper walks you through it, or contact us and we’ll help you work it out.

Can you wallpaper over paint?

Yes, as long as the paint is sound, clean and dry. Wash off any grease, fill and sand any cracks, and lightly sand gloss or silk paint so the paste can grip. Fresh plaster needs a mist coat or size first. Our guide, can you wallpaper over paint?, covers each step, and how to prepare your walls explains the rest.

What is paste-the-wall wallpaper?

Most of our wallpapers are non-woven and paste-the-wall: you apply paste to the wall rather than the paper, then hang the dry roll. It’s quicker, cleaner and easier to position. Every roll is 10m long, and each product page lists its pattern repeat, pattern match and washability. Read more in our guide to paste-the-wall vs paste-the-paper wallpaper.

Are your curtains and Roman blinds made to measure?

Yes. Our curtains and Roman blinds are made to your exact measurements, and our curtains are hand-finished in our UK workroom. Enter your window size on the product page to see your price.

Yes. Our designs are also sold at Brewers, B&Q, Amazon, Next, Homebase, Wallpaper Direct and Wickes. Type the design name or product code (for example 101699EH) into search to find it, order 3 free samples or buy more rolls.

What sizes and materials are your rugs?

Most rugs come in 80 × 150cm, 120 × 170cm, 160 × 230cm and 200 × 290cm, and runners in 60 × 230cm. Ranges include hand-tufted 100% wool, natural jute and sisal and a range of rugs made from recycled plastic bottles that can be used indoors and outdoors.

Are your designs made in the UK?

All of our collections are designed in the UK. Heritage-inspired ranges including Heritage Tales and Esselle Home x Kate Hewitt are also designed in the UK.

Every collection is designed so your walls, windows and soft furnishings work together, making it easy to create a cohesive, magazine-worthy room.

All of our collections are designed in the UK. Heritage-inspired ranges such as Heritage Tales and Esselle Home x Kate Hewitt are made in the UK too, and our made-to-measure curtains are hand-finished in our UK workroom.

Designed to coordinate. Wallpaper sets the tone for a room, so we design each one alongside matching fabrics and cushions. Pair a calm white wallpaper or soft neutral wallpaper with patterned curtains, or balance a statement blue wallpaper with plain textures and a colourful rug.

Heritage collaborations. Esselle Home x RHS draws on the RHS Lindley Collections, an archive of over 25,000 botanical artworks, some dating back to the 1600s. Esselle Home x Kate Hewitt is a collection of heritage-inspired, paste-the-wall wallpapers created with Kate Hewitt of @our_bears_home.
